This position is funded through July 31, 2028. Employment after that date is subject to availability of funds.The overall goal of the five-year REACH 95 project is to accelerate Ukraine’s efforts to achieve HIV epidemic control by 2030 by improving equitable access to high-quality HIV service delivery at public health facilities through optimized case-finding, linkage to prevention and care, and support for decentralized treatment services. The REACH 95 project aims to increase the number of people living with HIV (PLHIV) who know their status, are linked to HIV care, and receive treatment — to achieve the Joint United Nations Programme The humanitarian portfolio addresses the needs of conflict-affected people in the Eastern and Southern regions of Ukraine through multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), in-kind food and non-food assistance, and protection and psychosocial support. General Position Summary The Program Development and Grants Manager will support the Programs department as the point person for communicating Mercy Corps’ humanitarian activities through donor reports. This includes the collation of information from each operational department into concise and clear narratives, supported by statistical evidence and case studies. The Program Development and Grants Manager must have an understanding of compliance and reporting requirements for each donor and communicate those to program teams as needed. YOUR MISSION: Under the responsibility of the AVR Specialist and Technical Head of Programs, the Victim Assistance Technical Officer contributes to Humanity & Inclusion’s strategy in Ukraine. During the winter, most attacks target energy structures, mainly power grids and power plants, resulting in sporadic disruptions of electricity, water, heating and communications. HI has 3 hubs, one in the East (based in Dnipro with sub bases in Kharkiv and Poltava), one in the West (based in Lviv), one in the South East (based in Mikolaiv) and the coordination is in Kyiv. HI staff is accommodated in guesthouses or in hotel (during business trips), usually near HI offices, restaurants, cafes, shopping centers within walking distance and near a shelter (the shelter is either in the building or easy to reach). Movements between sites can be made by car (Hi drivers) or by train, depending of the region and time.
