In summary, according to Office of Coordination and Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports, with the scale and direction of the ongoing military operation, 18 million people are projected to become affected, including up to 6.7 million people projected to be newly internally displaced. Of the affected population, 12 million people are expected to need humanitarian assistance, and 6 million with the most urgent humanitarian needs – including shelter, water, sanitation, hygiene services and basic non-food items.  IOM is rapidly scaling up Non-Food Items (NFI) distribution responses capacity in the country. Proposed intervention for NFI and Common Pipeline include direct and indirect NFI responses, assessment, monitoring, procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution of critical NFI supplies. Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the Programme Officer (NFI/Common Pipeline), and the direct supervision of the Project Support Officer (NFI Reporting), the successful candidate will contributes the production, editing and quality control of NFI and Common Pipeline Program reports and regular updates. Core Functions / Responsibilities:Keep abreast of all developments in the program activities and responses to prepare appropriate updates and reports. Adhere to internal reporting mechanisms. In coordination with information management assistant, consolidate and analyse data on programme implementation, achievements and indicators in all projest in order to facilitate the preparation of periodic reports and activity-specific reports as may be required and ensure timeliness of such reports. Assist in the preparation of quality on programmatic results to donors, in compliance with specific donor requirements. Compile, analyse, translate and also, monitor and review information and data from regular and wide variety of sources, especially from external publications od IOM NFI and Common Pipeline program for internal and external reporting. Draft regular updates, including bi-weekly report, monthly factsheets and other required program activity info, for internal and extrernal audience (including donors and media) Assist in providing visibility for donors' contributions to IOM NFI and Common Pipeline Program. Prepare and distribute minutes of meetings. Conceptualize, draft and edit stories for external communications products and support all aspects of its production, including fact checking, proofreading and quality control. Provide technical support, training and clarification on IOM’s reporting policies and deadlines. Provide administrative assistance and support in routine services and activities within the unit.
