Set up systems and administer all assets, to supervise the performance of inventory control and assets management in the IOM Mission. Source and deliver quality goods and services, vendors’ database, prequalification of suppliers, standardization of equipment, simplification and grouping of procurement processes. Coordinate local and international procurement and contracting activities, including solicitation processes, evaluation, selection and contract issuance. Develop and update on a regular basis a roster of suppliers for IOM. Ensure that suppliers are selected on the basis of an open and transparent competition. Manage procurement contracts and perform the relevant PRISM functionalities. Train and guide the IOM Mission personnel on procurement and logistics issues in accordance with the Organization's policies and procedures, as necessary. Supervise all other logistic services, including maintenance of buildings, maintenance of the fleet of the IOM Mission vehicles and other common support services. Elaborate an internal control system in accordance with the IOM’s policies and procedures, report any identified weaknesses, and suggest remedial action(s).
