Job Description We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Props Artist with a passion for fantasy settings to join our team for an exciting Dungeons & Dragons video game project. As a 3D Props Artist, you will bring to life the rich, imaginative world of D&D by designing and creating intricate, high-quality props and environmental assets. Your work will contribute to the atmosphere and immersion of the game, enriching the player's experience. Qualifications Key Responsibilities: Create high-quality, stylized 3D assets (props, weapons, gear) using advanced hard-surface and organic modeling techniques. Utilize reference photos and Concept Art materials to model detailed, clean, and accurate assets. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure assets align with gameplay functionality and visual direction. Integrate and validate 3D models within the Unity game engine, ensuring optimal performance and technical quality. Troubleshoot asset-related issues and address feedback to meet project standards. Contribute to pipeline improvements and the advancement of art creation technology. Document workflows and best practices to ensure consistency across the Art Team. Required Qualifications and Skills: A portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D Prop Art, with an emphasis on stylized assets. Ability to interpret reference material and Concept Art to create accurate 3D models. Ability to follow the existing style of the art direction and the chosen vision of the project design. Proficiency in game engines such as Unity or Unreal (Unity experience preferred). Strong skills in both hard surface and organic modeling. Strong understanding of shape, form, and composition principles. Proven experience in creating optimized 3D assets for game development. Proficiency in industry-standard modeling tools (3DSMAX, Maya, Blender, Zbrush) and texture/material authoring tools (Photoshop, Substance). Solid understanding of PBR workflows. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with Unity integration and asset troubleshooting. Passion for stylized art and creativity in asset creation.
