Participate in the assessments, definition of technical documents and contracts for the construction, rehabilitation and upgrading of WASH facilities. Participate in assessments of water and sanitation needs.  Continuously assist to monitor the WASH activities using both quantitative and qualitative data. Monitor and verify WASH projects are implemented in line with the requirements and in accordance with IOM, donor, Cluster, country and international standards i.e. Sphere and HAP standards. Assist in the preparation of technical   site layout, and bill of quantities for all planned works. Provide technical inputs to logistics/ procurement in calling for bids, technical evaluation, assist in preparing the contractual agreements and monitoring the work of successful contractors. Support in preparing the requests of the materials, and verifying the technical specifications and quality delivered by suppliers and contractors. Support site planning in terms of locating WASH facilities as required in new site developments and extensions. Support topographical survey and setting out of drainage lines. Continually support to assess emergency needs, as requested, especially taking in the broader perspective of WASH and public health. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time using standard format.  Effectively work together with other WASH Cluster partners in executing WASH response activities.   Maintain effective communication and networking through partnership and collaboration. Develop Bills of Quantity and Bills of Materials, draft other necessary engineering documentation based on national legislation and IOM standards. Regularly monitor the rehabilitation works maintained by the contractors to ensure that works are executed in an effective and efficient manner, by complying with all technical requirements of IOM and Government authorities. We are looking for Chief Software Engineer to join our B2B Payables team based in Warsaw, Poland. The Chief Software Engineer will provide technical leadership/oversight in building the next generation virtual payables platform for various account types (cards, Pseudo accounts, wallets) as well as providing value added services to our clients.  Essential Functions: Technology Leadership: Mentor, coach, lead and motivate a high performing team of senior engineers, lead engineers, testers, managers to set clear priorities to achieve product/technology goals and KPIs. Establish COE for Virtual Payables Hub strategy locally for B2B VBS team. Strategic Project ownership: Lead the Virtual Platform Long Term Architecture solution using cross vertical teams from OVN, Network processing, O&I and Data Platform. Ensure strong strategic alignment across the cross verticals. Develop strategies to meet business objectives with existing or emerging technologies and articulate technology solutions as well as explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives keeping in mind the platforms’ needs of security, high scalability (throughput of over 150 tps) and four nines of availability. Drive Technology Standards: Drive the definition, rollout, and adoption of Virtual Payables adoption complying with Visa standards. Be the VBS/B2B Evangelist: Be the technology evangelist of expansive virtual payables platforms across Visa and drive adoption metric. Build relationships with key architects across technology organizations and collaborate on promoting architectural best practices across technology. Drive the coordination, organization and execution of qualitative and quantitative decisions and advise senior management on insights and recommended actions.
